Finding that different gift for someone special just got
easier. By visiting our purpose built studio you may
choose from a selection of over fifty pre fired shapes.
Help and advice is at hand for those who need it, with
over twenty colours and a good choice of brushes you
can settle down with a complimentary hot or cold drink
and set about creating your very own work of art. If
you do not feel you want to have a go and you require
a custom made piece we are more than happy to discuss
your needs and paint a piece of your choice for you,
charge applies.
We can seat up to fifteen, why not make a party of it,
for a birthday, a get together or just for fun.
Parties may bring along food and drinks, but must serve
themselves we do not do catering.
We will deck out the room for children’s parties with balloons and banners
etc. You may want to
set a price maximum, this is best for kids, that way you control what you spend
, they still get a good choice, all within the budget, (minimum spend £7.50
per head).
When the Ware is painted and complete we give the pieces a coating of Glaze,
At parties we do
the Glazing in front of the guests and have a question and answer session, this
goes down very well with the children, it is then placed in the Kiln for a high
temperature firing (1.000ºC )
Payment is made when the party or session is over, and not on collection.
We routinely open a kiln every Wednesday but sometimes extra firings can be made,
this means
that most pieces are ready for collection once a week normally Wednesday, during
busy periods
especially at Christmas we fire twice a week, or even daily so rush jobs can
be accommodated The
ware is wrapped and bagged with the name of the painter on each bag, we normally
enclose a Reckless Flyer in every bag for future reference.
